New Armor Models

So I was off for the weekend,  logged back in and noticed my armor looked different. Bad different.

I'm not going to go on a tangent about how there is many other things that should be the primary focus of developers rather than this, but holy shit if you're going to be focusing on doing things no one wanted or asked for, atleast make it look like an improvement.

What do you all think of the new models that have been released over the last months?

How are you not all tired of being told different devs work on different things lol. The modeller isn't "prioritising" making new EOD boots over revamping territory warring, he's just working through his work list.

should have just hired one of the designers in game who could've 3d modeled something that looks good because most of these new models look like dog shit.

however

instead of paying for a modeller ched could be paying for a developer 

before the 3d model update I heard no complaints about the existing item artwork but a ton of grousing about the slow rate of feature development

so people saying 'hey we never asked for new models but we are frustrated that features are taking a lot longer to ship than promised and you're spending limited budget on something nobody asked for whilst timelines on feature releases are slipping by" are also perfectly reasonable in my opinion

There's players in the game already capable of 3d modeling good looking work,  some of which probably even would've accepted in game currency as payment for doing it if it's something they really wanted to do even though no one asked for or wanted it.

Presentation goes a long way, I get that.

Maybe this was a passion project for a developer, god forbid they work on something other than what the community is ranting about…
