Would hiring other players to be bodyguards be a popular option?
Lets say I could hire 2 other players as my bodyguard for travel and it would increase my chances of fending off mugging.

Not really that would defeat the whole purpose of the game which is to gain more stats . Cuz if we implement it then weak but rich players can just hire their friends or anyone they know who is strong and they'll won't be attack that much
So it will become a battle between only LVL 100 and the players who can't afford a bodyguard will just be farmed
