I just returned to the game after a few years. I was an importer with no debt. I come back and I have 5.4m debt from Duke and he bounties me every second of the day. He also mugs me everytime I get some items sold. Recently mugged me for 4.8m 3 mins after they sold.
Can I reset my account and start over? I know having a 2nd account is a tos violation. But they have made it impossible to come back after time off. It is not built to encourage returning players to keep playing. What can I do?
You can delete this account and create a new one but I wouldn't.
Get married to someone that has a PI, fly for free, make a few trips to Mexico or Caymans and your debt is easily paid off.
Also your NW is 16m currently - where is that money?
why restart? You can make 6mil selling losses in a single day and pay off the debt.
Sure you're not losing that much by restarting, but progress is progress regardless. You're just wasting time starting back at day 1.
Side question, but does Duke bounty you as long as you start paying it down? I came back recently and had some debt, but just paid it off in a few installments over the course of a couple days and he never bountied me that I saw, unless I was oblivious somehow or it wasnt enough. IIRC it was under 2mill
It takes approximately 8 weeks of no payment for Duke to start bountying/attacking.
Just for reference as well, whatever he mugs from you doesn't count towards paying off your debt.
Dont you have a heap of refills you could use to make a heap of cash?
