After a tragic false start (got impatient and burned several mil on an attempt that went nowhere) and a weekend of wasted battlestat grinding I have managed to get the Notorious honor. All told it only took me about 215 nerve and half a refill but wow was that a lot of weed.

Ya know sweeny, you've reminded me that there's a difference between people who are assholes and people who are mean on purpose. This is unrelated to this thread it's just been on my mind, I actually do appreciate seeing you around.
The Notorious honour is really hard to get.
I tried myself and failed twice.
The last time I failed was ten nerve short and had to sit there watching my notoriety slowly drain away. No fun.
I did eventually get the merit but I spent a heck of a lot more nerve on my final try than you did.

Im pretty sure he was making a joke about you being notorious and he didnt know you.... it kinda went over your head i think.
No I understood his joke, I just used it as a chance to say something that's been on my mind lately haha
It's terrible for impatient people! I suspect my lower nerve consumption came down to doing this at a low CS and a relatively low CE (only two crimes maxed). My first attempt took noticbly less nerve because I still critfailed some of the harder targets.
Also really showed me how important it is to wait until no security measures are down, I probably would have gotten it if Sally took care of her damn camera better.
