Is there any benefit to putting money into the faction bank?
Would I be better to put it in my Caymans account?

If you put it in the faction bank you are relying on them to return it to you. You won't have access to take it yourself.
Flying to Caymans to deposit or take out money is a faff, and the interest is poor.
I'd say you are better off putting the money into stocks. You can control your access to it and may get a few perks if you save enough.
You'd be better off buying a stock ticker and keeping at least a billion sitting there for any buying needs that you have.
Cayman Islands is mugger kingdom and too far out of the way to make a quick sale if you find someone selling something.
The only real value to faction vault is the banker(s) can transfer you money while abroad if you have a balance. But, one has to be online, and in Torn City when you need it. Same safety aspect as a trusted ghost trader, especially if you fly to SA or UAE and fall asleep.
Okay. Thanks.
