Not much point considering 95% of wars are termed as fighting them out just isn't worth it with the current system being broken.
But turtling is a common tactic when wars are fought. It means staying in hospital or flying around so the opponent cant hit you and earn points.
Then there's hiring mercs to hit your people so the enemy cant hit you. Same with bountying your own team.
Besides that, there isn't really much tactics to speak of per say.
Hiring revivers to vive opponents that are logged off and forgot to adjust their revival settings is another one (but it's hit or miss due to most people making it a policy to restrict who can revive them during a war).
Another tactic is using the weaker members of one's own faction to grant a team-up/distraction/assist bonus for the stronger members to target the other side's heavy hitters is also a workable strategy sometimes (but it tends to require having substantially more people logged on and coordinating than the opponent faction).
