Should the Mayan Statue now be a material, with an effect of "used as planted evidence"? The other ones should also be given that effect.
This will aid in travellers, for when the usual purchases are sold out, you can bring back something semi useful.
I have already queried this, Ched has mentioned the following:
I don't think so - for arbitrary items that are used for planting evidence on a single target, I don't think that makes them a Material.
