Hey is there a way to store money in a vault so I don't lose it when I'm mugged?

join a good and trusted faction and store your money there also can.
or try the unorthodox method by starting a company and you'll have your private money vault. but this is very very not recommended as you won't be able to run a company properly without have education and stock.

Faction armory is a good way to store money but you need an active leadership for it
PI Vault is also great but you need to own a PI to use it
Recommendation: find a good and trusted faction and store your money in the armory
Should go without saying, but if you do use faction vault, you're at risk of any current or future banker taking it and running off. Another method people use sometimes is bidding lowballs on big ticket auction house items. That way, if they win the item they got it super cheap, and if they get outbid, the money gets stored as a cashier's check for 24h.
