During the Pinata attack of 17-10-2025 i managed to attach it while only having 20E and ended up with -5 energy.

Energy went back to 0 after the 10 minute regeneration passed so back to 0 energy. But might be usefull for you to know... see screenshot.

I had the same thing but I went -25 e, I stalemated and it appeared to freeze so I refreshed and it started me at 0/25 attacks although I had no clips in my primary weapon due to the previous attack, however I could still use mele.
