If I fit a Small Light to my rifle, which reduces my opponent's stealth and accuracy, do I have to use the rifle in the fight to get that benefit, or can I use a pistol or meleé weapon and still get the benefit?
Asking before I waste my mission points!
Rifle i think (no experience in this so sorry)
Weapon mods affect you on any turn you are using that specific weapon.
If it is attached to your rifle, it only lowers their stealth and accuracy on a turn where you are using your rifle.
Having the rifle on your back with the light shining on your own butt does not help while you wave a pistol in their face.

I realise that real life would say that you have to be pointing the weapon at your target in order to get the benefit, but this is Torn ...... so you never know.
