Torn App or TornPDA? What mobile OS?

Pretty sure it is your native phone keyboard settings, rather than something in the app though

Tested on Android and the keyboard inside the app is using my Samsung keyboard app - so yeah, your phone's keyboard settings.

I know the feels - had turned off predictive text/autocorrect as it was doing too many wrong words - then realised my fat fingers were the cause and I make more mistakes without it! hahaha

I have a few words that I never thought much about spelling right. Then I started learning a new language that has those same words spelled 1 letter different so now I gotta learn em properly in 2 languages lmfao.

As the case with any 2nd language. Easy to read, hard to write. The more you do it, the better you get at it.

I find Spanish to be surprisingly easy, very phonetic. If I am not sure of a word I just spell it out in my head based on how it sounds to figure out the word if it's a bit hard to hear. I feel sorry for people trying to get English down though, we have some insane ones.

English isn't too bad to learn. Mastering English however is honestly insane.

Weird grammar. Inconsistencies in spelling... Like the word weird. 'I' before 'E' except after 'C' right? Wrong! Then you have the dialects, regional differences, exceptions to rules (like the word weird) that have no explanation and require pure memorization. Then you have loads of idioms, slang, and acronyms that are also words. It goes on and on.

But... People learn it because of it's universal. Spoken nearly worldwide thanks to the British and their pre-colonial trading empire. Fun fact about english. There are more people that are fluent in English as a second language than there are native speakers of the language. It's almost necessary to understand a least a little English because you can travel anywhere and be understood.

No in Bulgaria is a bit difficult not because the language but because the head motion is the exact opposite of others between yes/no. Try saying yes and nodding head no, and no and nodding it yes...It's actually not as easy as you'd think.

Not to mention the problem with living languages being that definitions change overtime.

Like "nimrod".  It used to refer to Nimrod the great hunter, then bugs bunny used it sarcastically to refer to Elmer fudd, no one knew what it meant, so people thought it was an insult and ran with it.

Not to mention the new words that gets added every year.

Oh, I have seen that, but did not realize it was a thing in Bulgaria.  Its fun how much body language and inflection/emphasis can affect the words and their understanding.

Part of why its so hard to convey certain things through text
