It's always fun to me to watch people go crazy trying to mug a new lottery winner when that person hasn't even been online for hours, or even sometimes days. Clearly those muggers never took the time to learn that lottery winnings come in the form of a cashier's check and not directly deposited to your wallet. Anybody else get a kick out of this, going down the mugging rabbit hole?

The cashier's check gets deposited to their wallet after roughly one day, so there is validity to that.

Unfortunately not, which was why I used the word "roughly", but I forget the finer details of more exactly when it is. I feel comfortable saying that within 25 hours, it will certainly have dispensed.
if I ever win, I’m gonna let that time run out just to find out for Future research. I think somebody needs to get on this ASAP.
If its sent to the bank wouldnt it be 48 or 72 hrs bc thats when all cashier checks at the bank auto send. At least for bank investments as well as redunds from auctions do so id have assumed its the same time frame. Def can be wrong as ive obv never fckn won one haha.

Ya i see this now. Ive had something take 48-72hrs though. Cant remember wtf it was. Idk but youre right. Torn wiki states failed bids, change, and lottery winnings are all 24hrs

Never done this since I never even bother trying to mug lottery winners because I assume everyone else has got there first, assuming I can beat them in the first place. I did once try to mug some low stat person who sold something in the auction house, not realizing at the time that it wasn't automatically deposited into their pockets. Made me feel kinda silly at the time but I forgot about it until now, so thanks for reminding me of it... I think?
I honestly just assumed most people did it as more of a tradition thing.
Its not about mugging money at this point, its about making the lucky fcker suffer for winning a large amount of money.
