in the last 2 attacks i've made while defending the 1020 damage recovered 113 life but 1072 damage only 13.
why ?
my weapon is 11% bloodlust kodachi.

The life recovery is based on how much health the opponent had, not on the raw damage that you dealt. If you land a 1k hit but the opponent only had 100 Life, you will only recover 11 Life from the hit.
