   I read the max happy book and timed it to start; just, after the 15 min mark. Happiness reverts back to your base happy at the next 15 min mark. 

   If I had read the repeat last book; this would not have occurred as I lost my 99k happiness before the next 15 min mark because I got a " system message saying my book ended, " which is fine but should not have removed my 99k happiness before the next 15 min mark.

It would have stayed at 99k happy till the next tick if you were on 99k happy when the book finished. You had overdosed a few days before the book finished and you never boosted yourself back up to 99k after that

I was above my base happiness and before the next 15 minute mark my happiness reverted back to my base. I believe because the system message that the book ended caused it. 

There was not enough time to chase 100k happiness again. 

I am posting so I can help others know what happened to me should they try to use these two books in combination; as it will not carry happiness over to the repeat book because of the system message which disrupted it before the 15 minute mark expired.

The happy is reset because the sidebar update is ran at the end of the book, this includes max happy also being removed to accommodate for cases like Book : Because I'm Happy - The Pharrell Story, where the doubled regen rate needs to only apply till the period the book was active. Ched has mentioned that we can probably change the checks to only be ran where they are relevant instead of for all books. Pavel will look into making those changes, if possible.
