Blouses

I have managed to amass a sizeable number of blouses during my time in Torn City.  I can't wear them all, so I looked for somewhere to sell them.  Seems as though none of our friendly city merchants wants them though.

But why are they being offered at $600+ on the Item Market?

Am I missing something (probably)?

Perhaps Duke has another secret fetish?

Cheap items are often bought and used for "Eco Friendly" merit (Dump 5K items). If you already have the merit you can collect 5K and advertise it as a merit package to get more than market price pretty easily. 

Thanks, I can see how that would work.  Though I'm buying blouses for $1 from bazaars rather than paying $600+ from the market.  Guess I'll have to be very patient to get 5k of them by that method though.

Clothing is a very slow sell.  Even when you find a buyer they only want 1 and not often too badly.  That's why many don't deal in clothing. 

Not really affordable as most are marked up 260 to 350% above market... 

Or you could be a grinch at Christmas and dump them same time as dukes dump giveaway
