How do you establish a bazaar? I have literally obtained one, but how do you make it searchable or findable? I guess bazaar items don't show in item searches? What is the benefit is it more of a long term investment? I have also put items to $1 as I saw that as a thing but then they lock? Genuinely perpkexed. Tia

$1 items are locked and people who visit your Bazaar have a small chance to have them unlocked.
Bazaar's are great to passively sell items, without the market tax. The downside is buy mugging risk is higher, so be on your toes.
People will search for specific items and come across your Bazaar naturally. Don't worry about people finding it.

Stock things that are interesting to you, and to get known, try and find a loss leader, one item that you can sell to the deal sniffing scripture, everyday. You can also register an api key with bzimor’s site and then all your bazaar items are searchable to bzimor’s users.
The days of bazaar are over. Only if all the players know about weav3r directory, the advantage of bazaar would be utilized. And what happened to City Bazaar directory? Anybody uses them anymore?

Even advertising your bazaar in trading post forums are useless since they are flooded with RW weapons/armors
Unless you are selling bulk items, your bazaar is not gonna show up on the front page of the bazaar directory.
For me bazaar works very well. I have never advertised it. It also offers an easy protection against buy-mugging.
- Register in W3aver website
- Add items to your bazaar
- Open your bazaar just before flying out or self-hosping
- Enjoy the sound of non-stop bazaar sales notifications
- Don't overstay abroad (15 seconds)
- Return to Torn, close your bazaar and hide cash within 15 seconds or ASAP, if you were hosped
Of course, it all depends on what prices you set. I just want to keep my money moving, so usually set prices at the lower end compared to other bazaars.
