How do I become a merc what do I need todo to get into it, I have a stricken I can use I just need to know were I can advertise my business of time and efforts

1. Max your hosp merits
2. The higher battlestats the higher chance of being hired or finding a suitable contract, usually min 100-250m tbs
3. Join a service like Nebula or BHS for contracts or start a trading post

Beyond that, it helps to be in a fac that also has hosp perks for extra time.
I've been using the attacking forum to advertise my merc services.
You can join a merc service or do your own mercing.
Pros of service: more contracts more readily, solid rate overall.
Cons: Can't customize as much, sometimes more ppl vying for the same contract, you don't get your name out there as much.
Pros of independent: more customizable. More hits just to yourself if you build a good client base.
Cons: You have to do so much more work finding the contracts/building the clientele
