Dear Diary........,
I am writing to you now from the PC at the library.
First let me start off by telling you that I have fully committed to becoming a hacker.
My first action as a hacker was that I installed Kali Linux on my computer. I was so excited.
But then, I found out I couldn’t connect to the internet. I thought it was my ISP, so I called them frantically.
They tried to help, and I ended up wasting five hours yesterday with no luck.
So today I came to the library to do some research. After countless forums turns out it was my Wi-Fi card, so I bought a new one.
I tried to plug the card into the USB slot, and it didn’t fit. It was weird-looking, but the associate told me to trust them. He even took my debit card up to the register for me while I continued to shop. How thoughtful!
Anyway, I got back home and shoved it in, and nothing happened. Then I realized I had to put it inside (that’s what she said). So I opened up my PC and found where it was supposed to go, but I think I snapped one of those little pegs trying to get it out.
So here I was, trying to fix the skeleton case of my PC, and my hand started going numb sporadically. It felt like when your arm goes to sleep, but mine just kept buzzing. It was also making this truck noise, constantly beeping like it was backing up, and it was so annoying. So I did the only thing I could think of and unplugged it. Finally, the noise stopped. Also, my hand felt better too.
I returned the Wi-Fi card and told the associate that it didnt fit, and was smaller than the other one I took out.
I think I’m going to have to tell my dad about this. I hope he won’t be too upset. He mentioned something about his new RAM costing more than his yearly salary, which is weird considering we own a Ford Tahoe.
Anyways, I’ll be back tomorrow with an update and let you know how things turned out.
