STAFF APPRECIATION POST

Gonna go against the grain a bit and say: WELL DONE TO THE TORN CITY STAFF AND THANK YOU FOR THE ANAZING WORK U DO 

It’s clearly NOT an easy job running a game with this many moving parts and creative interpretations of the rules. Every SINGLE THING bogie POSTS gets dissected, screenshotted, quoted out of context, and DEBATED by SHAT or whatever that shit faction LUSTy was in like it’s a Supreme Court ruling but GUESS WHAT, if u didn’t break the RULE ur team wouldn’t be BANNED. DISSECT THAT. 

Do staff always get it right? No most the time they get it wrong.

Are decisions always consistent? Ask TNL and SHAT.

Do the rules sometimes feel… flexible? DEPENDS who it is being ENFORCED against.

But despite all that, the game keeps running, donations are UP and new player IDS STAT WITH 40 something.

It’s also easy to forget that staff are dealing with:

• Thousands of  cry bay BASEMENT dweller players
• Endless reports from LEFT LEANING players who will complain about LITERALLY EVERYTHING 
• And a community that can simultaneously say “staff do nothing” and “staff are power-tripping” in the same thread when their friend gets banned.

And yeah, sometimes it might look like certain players get more… understanding than others but ask yourself THIS. Maybe if u were more SUCCESSFUL in REAL LIFE you could DONATE more like my friends Uncle and SKJOLD you also could do what you want with NO consequences

I agree that staff ought to be both appreciated for what they get right and held accountable when some decisions seem blatantly unfair or at the very least questionable. I also agree that everything bogie says gets dissected and examined to the point people can make what he says mean whatever the f**k they want.  

moderating and managing is a tough and thankless job and doing it while also attempting to both please the masses and please your boss has to suck the furriest of…. Well I think you know and I don’t want to be accused of promoting obscenity.  Even when it’s both cute and funny. 

Keep being you Ferret! Life is not always fair nor forgiving but it’s always willing to give you moments of hilarity and joy to augment the utter bullshit that heaps up.
