Is EOD getting too common?

We're at 219 possible full EOD sets in circulation, up from 121 full EOD sets this day last year; meaning 100 full EOD sets have entered the game over the course of the past year.

Meanwhile, only 32 welding helmets and 35 hazmat suits have entered circulation in the past year.

121 complete EOD sets possible, compared to the 121st highest networth at $239B.

Now there are 219 complete sets possible, the 219th highest networth is $177B, a decrease of $62B compared to last year!

What happens to the value of EOD when we see yet another 100 sets added to the game? And another 100 after that?

Is there a point to where EOD gets to common?

It will become too common if you have a set, and you encounter someone else with a set, and then go at it like a pair of OP narcissistic Godzillas.

If EOD is truly the End-Game armor and they never plan to change it or add anything else comparable then it will eventually go down but I'm assuming it will always have a set price floor.

Even if supply goes up, it won't matter unless both sellers agree to take less and buyers stand their ground if they think it's overvalued. 

If it's always going to be the best armor, it will probably have an artificial value floor that the majority of players won't sell below.

This all sounded smarter in my head.

Surely the best way to finance an EOD is just keep opening armor caches until you get one, I imagine that would be cheaper than outright buying one (depending on your RNG).

with 88,000 active players (or whatever the peak was we saw the other day) I don't think ~100 a year is going to make any noticeable difference anytime soon, I mean yes value will inevitably drop over time, but it won't be dirt cheap in the next decade 

just gonna be harder for the select few traders to price gate the EOD market naming no names

The price tag has remained flat in nominal dollars.

Granted, there has been a small cartel of armor traders who own multiple pieces and are sitting on pretty massive unrealized losses on their inventory in hopes that a whale comes by and scoops it up.

Eh, more just means less juggling between large fac families to discourage real war if everyone already has em.

What other options for red armour could there actually be? A small % chance to defelct 100% of damage back upon attacker? I don't really see anything else that could be seen as on-par with EOD. I believe even the M'aol set is worse unless your top 100BS constantly being group attacked.
