I'm not sure if this has been suggested already, sorry for being redundant.
How about tagging in the chat so that people know who is responding to them and vice versa? I know clicking on the names/ID sends us to their page, so maybe using "@" and maybe a drop down menu like when we send gifts/items to other people?
It's just with a lot of people in the game, it's hard to know who is talking to who
