Swapping the Wall of Text story to Dinos AI version! Ty for this Dino, Smart play!

Just looking for Advice!

Faction leader complains that another player (Southbay) keeps repeatedly attacking one of his newer faction members over a misunderstanding about job recruitment and fake stat claims, and asks the community how to deal with a persistent bully.

Actual story in a few points

• The author runs a new-player friendly faction meant to help beginners.
• Another player, Southbay, tried to recruit one of his members into a company job with better pay.
• The member replied slowly and eventually mentioned possibly joining for 175k + daily trains.
• Southbay allegedly believed the player claimed 37k END (which the author says never happened).
• When the player didn’t respond quickly enough, Southbay started repeatedly attacking him.
• The faction leader checked the messages and concluded the stat claim never occurred.
• When confronted, Southbay allegedly:
  • sent misleading “proof”
  • stopped responding
  • kept attacking the member for ~11 days
•  
• The author retaliated a few times but says Southbay continues the attacks.
• Attempts to contact Southbay’s faction leadership failed (no response / inactive).
• The author fears the harassment could drive the newer player to quit the game.

Its a lot, I get that haha Kept it as short as i could. Just not sure how to handle a bully like this, This guy is insane.

There isn't much u can do without violence. I'd suggest the guy lay low for a while, probably in South Africa.

The cure is either absolute violence, breath of credit card's dragon or long time guerilla tactics 

let him waste his energy on attacks.

keep your revives on. he'll get bored and move on.

For the first time, Violence seems to be the path lol I can probably make that work, Ty!

It can be hard for newer players to just go to another country and camp out, kinda unfun gameplay. But honestly not a terrible idea, if the player gets into a good swing of just travelling often while afk, South probably (hopefully) will get the shits and give it a rest. But some can be vindictively committed, so who knows really. Still a shit go for the new player irrespective of the actions they'll need to take, but that's Torn!

This is true haha its hard for us to take this path, but luckily mercs exist so im gonna explore that possibility! 

Keep getting South with Retals. He'll eventually learn its not worth the wasted E, and med cooldown. Sucks for you to have to waste E in response, but it is what it is.

You said you've been in contact with the other faction already? Reach out to someone in the leadership and tell them you don't expect them to do anything, but you're going to continue defending your guy. Odds are they won't care, and if South starts complaining they'll have "record" of the issue already. 

Edit- Don't be the aggressor if you're worried about his faction. Just stick to retals.

It seems the faction is actively inactive (some play but theres also nothing really going on). I was told the only chats they get is south asking for help because hes getting hit. I was hitting back when i can but the fights a struggle haha

Yeah, Sadly im not sure how to type it all to keep it short but also get across the situation i need advice with!

Misunderstandings and drama happens. Don*t escalate and they soon resolve.

A short TLDR list for those who don't want to read

• Southbay [2277991] convinces OP's factionmate to leave company to join theirs.

• South kicks employee to make room immediately. OP's factionmate busy IRL, gives delayed responses (~2 days).

• South gets upset and hits OP's factionmate multiple times.

• OP retals/confronts South with chat logs, gets blocked. Confronts South's factionmates/co-lead, no response.

• 11 days later still upset and hitting factionmate
  
  

Some other things here and there like details about the chat logs but that the gist of it. As for advice, if it were me I'd just ignore them like a fly on the wall. A minor annoyance for you but over time a loss in gains for them.

his stats so low, your member could probably get higher stats than him in 1-2months while  he wastes energy on him

Just ignore. These kind of players love all kind of attention. Just don't give them attention. Probably they will soon get bored and move elsewhere. But starting a thread already double rewarded him and You are worsening the situation.
