Upcoming Easter Egg Hunt

So i didnt find a single green stout on my map, which made me sad. I was curious for the easter egg hunt, do the eggs appear more often if I have the map search merit boost? I currently have 1 into it so 20% better chance of items appearing. Just curious if event items are affected by it or just random chance?

The eggs don't appear on the map for the easter egg hunt. They appear on random pages throughout the game. 

Awareness doesnt affect easter egg hunt event. As Ohadik said, they appear random pages at random times when you play the game. They dont dissappear from those pages. Egg locations will be reset at the end the of the event.

People use scripts that allow you to visit every page and egg finder that alerts if the egg is on the page.

Just to add, every player will have roughly the same amount of eggs generated over the course of the event.

Not the same color though, that's mostly random.

Eggs have a chance to spawn until the last second, so you might find nothing one day then 3 the other day.

Many just have a quick sweep on the last day of the event. (Mind, it can be abroad too).

While not the most exciting events is pretty easy.  Just hit every page in Torn to find them. They can appear anywhere on any page.  They don't disappear so if you just want to wait for the last day or so you can do that.  I think you still need to at least log in on a day for them to spawn.  I use Heasley's Egg Navigator to help clip through pages.    https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/463484-heasley-s-egg-navigator.
