A suggestion tho:)
Try to specify the type of key (public, limited, etc..) the user have to put to use your script (if he doesn't want to use the button get api key). Can you add also some screenshots on how the scripts works?
Hey thank you very much for the suggestions, first time so, definitely helps. It uses a minimal key, only item needed from the api is skills.
I made some edits to the original post that should make those things a little clearer, including a screen shot. Thank you again!
Also... why do you need to put api key? It's working without one. You can rearrange the grid without the API key and basically is doing the same thing. If you want, you can add an option to sort the crimes based on crime skill or a custom order.
example: i want cracking to be the first crime after that disposal etc..
Yea, I originally wrote the script without an API key. However, It is far less accurate... It is prone to error...The DOM fallback (non api) uses `group level + row level + XP bar` instead of true data, that ultimately comes from the api.
Per your suggestions, I am going to implement a drag and drop custom order system, make the default sort no-api key, and allow users to enter an api key if they want to opt-in for guaranteed accuracy based on the true skill levels.
Are you telling me that the data from website is different from the data from the API? Anyway.. I suggest to understand a bit what you are doing..
