My suggestion is remove the limited number the the sweet store has and retain the 100 per day purchase
As it is set at the moment only limited people can get them and if you are unlucky you miss out completely and have to pay absolutely stupid price via market and if you are new to the game you are at a instant disadvantage if you miss out at the sweer store
That's a benefit for new players. By having limitations to how many can be purchased, players buy at higher rates because of demand. This means buying a high demand item allows you sell at higher rates and give a safe starter income.
Lollipops also share their exact same effect with multiple other candies like box of chocolate, extra strong mints, chocolate kisses, and bonbons.
You can always buy and sell a different item from one of the shops with high demand then buy a cheaper alternative. I havent followed it in awhile, but usually there are some items with a higher profit margin
