TORN FORUM NOTIFIER

A lightweight chathead-style notification bubble that tracks replies on your own threads and subscribed threads. Sits at the edge of the screen on any Torn page, out of the way until you need it. Tap to see who replied and jump straight to the unread posts.

■ Features

  • Chathead bubble peeks at the screen edge — tap to open, hold to drag and reposition.
  • Tracks both your own threads and subscribed threads for new replies.
  • Skips your own posts so you don’t get notified for things you wrote.
  • Badge counter shows total unread — clicking a notification takes you directly to where the unread posts begin.
  • Per-thread notification control with search, select all, and deselect all.
  • Clock-tied polling — page refreshes don’t trigger extra API calls.
  • Live footer in the notification panel showing last update time, next poll countdown, and calls per minute.
  • Works on every Torn page, not just the forum.
  • TornPDA API key injection supported.

■ Setup

  1. Install the script using the button below.
  2. On first load the settings panel opens automatically — paste your API key and save.
  3. The script will fetch your thread list. This may take a moment if you have many threads.
  4. The chathead will appear at the right edge of the screen. Polling starts automatically.

API key requires Minimal Access. Generate one at Torn › Preferences › API. TornPDA users: the key is injected automatically at install time.
