Hi guys
To prevent chat flooding and ease the communications during wars (excluding third party apps) and for general day-to-day faction chat -
What are your thoughts on a thanking system?
For those of you who played TW back in the day, you will remember the Thanks and how useful that was. It showed who had thanked and the timestamp - so you knew your messages were being read.
Could we not have something similar to the Chat? So if somebody for example makes a claim on a hit during a war, people can thank the message so it's an acknowledged reaction and saves the message getting lost from scrolling? Also, useful if a leader, admin or whoever in charge asks people to stop hits, people can thank the message rather than clutter the chat.
You could have text similar to "50 people thanked this" with a hyperlink pop up with user-timestamps, so you know messages are being read.
Also useful when genuinely thanking people in the chat.
I just think a lot more work can be done with the chat, but I understand it's all about data cost and keeping it simple. It would be cool for another chat revamp.
What are your thoughts?
