Ah man I've been racing 2 months now in class D and I've only won 3rd place and 2nd place in that time and my current race skill is 4.77
Is there other tips I could try or should I rather join mechanic job

- Classes E-B are just point gates to get you to A, don't worry about them. If you're getting points, you're doing fine.
- Pick the right car for each track: the easiest way is probably the records page; or you can watch the distribution in races, especially 100-entry customs. All E-B cars except for Tanprice are dirt cheap, just buy and enroll as needed.
- AFAIR you get matched with people of similar skill level, so grinding it with custom races is counterproductive. Don't waste your time.
- If you're really struggling to win points: find the most versatile car for the class (the one that holds the most records) and buy the "strip out" upgrade for it. It's the best performance-to-points one, and it'll give you a fair amount of edge.
- Class B "don't waste points" exception/shortcut: if you have the money, buy a Tanprice in class B and max it out (check the guides for how). Even in Class A it'll shred through Mudpit and do pretty well in other races with a dirt section (Parkland, Hammerhead to a degree ). In Class B, since you're upgrading it, it'll destroy everything that's not a Tanprice.
