What it is

One place to understand and operate your company

Pythagoras Project - CIS is a company-management userscript for Torn directors who want to run training, keep staff records clean, watch business performance, track stock, plan wages and build useful company history.

Manual by design: syncs and larger backfills are user-triggered and rate-limited. CIS does not run hidden automation chains.

3.0.3 — daily costs and Employee Efficiency history

CIS now stores observed daily Advertisement Budget, employee Wage, total Employee Efficiency and all nine raw EE components. Daily records use Torn’s corrected 18:10 TCT company-day boundary and remain separated by company workspace.

Team view: a newest-first heatmap shows every current employee across recorded company days.

Employee view: selecting one employee opens nine dated trend lines for Working Stats, Settled In, Book, Merits, Director Education, Management, Wrong Gender, Addiction and Inactivity.

Free access: free users can view their latest seven company days in both the userscript and dashboard. Older saved records remain attached to the workspace.

Your CIS data outside Torn

The CIS web dashboard provides company information, reports, Staff history and entitlement-aware Employee Efficiency graphs outside the userscript interface.

API-key privacy: the server uses the Torn API key only to verify identity and retrieve the requested data. It is never written to the CIS database. The browser keeps it only in session storage until logout or the browser session ends.

Lovely! Seen the youtube video cannot wait to get a company and try this out for myself! 

tbh that looks more like it would be a website than a script. crazy! 

I spent the last week or so helping MoDuL with testing this script and it absolutely delivers.

Why this changed

Observed values replace projections

Torn does not provide historical values for employee Wages or a company’s Advertisement Budget. Until now, CIS had to project these figures, which could occasionally produce a zero or place a projected value against the wrong date.

From version 3.0.3 onward, CIS stores observed daily snapshots instead.

✓ Company histories remain separate.
Records are scoped to their company workspace, so data from different companies is never mixed.

Daily reporting

The corrected company-day boundary

A successful Employees or Business sync after Torn’s daily calculation records one snapshot for that company day. Further syncs on the same day update that record rather than creating duplicates.

Torn performs its calculations between 18:00 and approximately 18:10 TCT, so CIS does not close a daily snapshot during that calculation window.

Staff intelligence

New Employee Efficiency history

The Staff tab now includes an Employee Efficiency heatmap. Current employees appear on the Y axis, company dates appear on the X axis and the newest completed dates remain closest to the names on the left.

All current employees: view Total EE, one component or a combined value across the team.

One employee: switch from the heatmap to nine dated component trend lines.

History ranges: choose 7, 14, 30, 90 days or all-time, subject to account entitlement.

Free history: free users can view their latest seven company days in both the userscript and dashboard. The employee choice resets to “All current employees” after reload.

Historical availability

Your first valid snapshot becomes Day 0

Because Torn does not supply the missing historical values, the first successful snapshot after updating effectively becomes Day 0. Each later company day with a completed sync builds the history.

If valid snapshots already exist for your company workspace on the server, they may appear automatically. Missing older values cannot be reconstructed accurately from the Torn API.

Introducing the CIS web dashboard

The standalone dashboard provides access to company information, reports, Staff history and the new Employee Efficiency graphs outside the userscript interface. It observes the same company/workspace separation and account entitlement as the userscript.

✓ Public API key login, with no database storage

Sign-in uses a Torn API key with company access. The server uses it only to verify your Torn identity and retrieve the requested data. The key is discarded when request handling finishes and is never written to the CIS database.

The key remains only in the current browser’s session storage while the dashboard is open so later requests can be verified. It is cleared on logout and when that browser session ends.
