Every time that I have visited NOLA, I focused on partying. This time around, I am taking my teenager, and I don't plan on drinking (as much).

 

My kid plays the trumpet for band, and the saxophone for fun. They love cajun seasoning and crawfish. They recently told me they were interested in haunted locations. I remembered that the Big Easy is known for ALL of those things, so this will be the PERFECT trip!

 

We will be there in early June. We will have our own vehicle, but plan on taking the trolley, mostly.

 

Please post recommendations for Jazz Venues (family-friendly), Restaurants (budget-friendly), and Haunted locations (tours, optional)?

I’ve only been there once so far, but I really liked the aquarium. I’ll send you what I found on TripAdvisor—it looks like there’s quite a bit there. I’m sure you’ll find plenty.
