Exp is gained based on level, so the level 30 will gain noteably more. Choose 'leave' for maximum exp.
So it's not about fair fight...
Fair fight affects the respect you gain for your faction when you defeat them.
I thought its based on battlestats + life?
EXP gained is purely based on their level. Doesn't matter if they were full life or on 1hp when you attacked them.
Their battle stats affect the fair fight modifier for faction respect gains, but not EXP gained.
Edit: What you do when you defeat them then affects how much of that EXP you would get - "leave" gives the full amount, the others give less.
