The theft ones have had the most crits for me, but it's worth getting all of them to 100 for OC 2.0, since they influence your success in the different roles.

Arson has a very low crit rate if you do them sensibly.

There is no longer a "best" crime for CE (they moved away from having a specific crime as the meta)

Apart from a small bonus for attempting harder crimes, it doesn't matter where you spend your nerve.

Like 1.0 the crimes are listed in order of difficulty, so you need a higher base CE to reliably succeed the further down you go - there are some great guides by Emforus about each of the crimes, as well as some scripts to help you choose the right target.

(Some crimes, such as pickpocketing, have the hardest targets available at skill level 1, others gradually unlock better subcrimes)

Card Skimming is a "set them and forget them, then go back later and harvest", cracking is a great nerve dump skill at higher CE as it has a very low chance of failure at that point.

Burglary is the only one that you can guarantee not to fail consistently, but it's quite inefficient that way.

SFC can be 100% safe when doing the 100% chances, but it's time-dependent.

For good info on crimes individually, look up the guides by Emforus.

For the most part, crit fails CE loss is based on how much you would have gained if it were a success.  DO NOT walk into pickpocketing without reading a guide first.  Unlike most crimes, you have access to 100% of the targets from the beginning.  Going after a late-stage target early on will have you constantly resetting your skill to 1.

For new players yes. For you, no.

Since you already had crime exp from 1.0 you can be more forward thinking and add efficient crimes to the list.

Example would be effective card skimming is doing stuff like 20x bus stations once every week or two, but that doesn't use all your nerve, just takes longer so why not start now.

Scamming has 2 automated scrapers (3d and 7d IIRC) so if you have the educations for those, click to get them running each time they disappear but otherwise focus on other crimes.

Arson, high $ per nerve, or if you want good xp per nerve, only ones you can complete with 15 nerve.

Etc.

If any turn out to have high fail rates cause your CXP isn't as high as you thought, just tone it back.

I'd suggest reading through this and all the links in the second post. It's a lot but if you do 1-2 a day you'll have a solid take on all crimes within a week or two. If there's any part of the guides you don't understand, just try doing it and you'll get it.

Your NNB  is now uncapped. So more crimes you do over time tour nnb will grow by 5. Might be good to start at lowest crime and work your way up. You have few done already shouldn't be hard to catch up.
