Update: Sorry Ladies, guys and ladyboys the CashApp Pimp has been fedded. I have no details about it and I didn’t ask. 


Attention all good looking girl types! This lovely gentleman AroA is looking for a model in real life. He would like you to get up in his DMs so he can make you a good deal.  Make sure you are nice to him or he will badmouth you or anyone who says hey man no need to fight. I have already reported him but they found no wrongdoing. But I got the report back after we kicked him out. I would like to make a public apology and maybe help this man become the CashApp pimp he dreams to be.

I see this post is being reported. Is it really against the rules to call out actual real life scammers that devolve into insulting people relentlessly? Did I touch a nerve AorA?

In general, faction chats are moderated a lot less strictly than public areas as we want to allow faction leaders the freedom to dictate what their faction culture looks like. The content you had reported was within the bounds of what we'd expect faction leaders to deal with, but this however, is not. 

 

In the future, if you have additional information to add to a report, you can do so here prior to your report being locked. Having a complete report avoids situations like this where you don't feel like something was properly handled and we feel like something wasn't properly reported.

My assumption is that it's due to being a third party service rather than a purpose built system. I'd imagine in order to provide players moderation tools, we'd by default be given them in every chat area, rather than localized to just fac chat.

 

It would be a pretty cool feature though, my faction doesn't really use in game chat terribly often, but there have been one or two times where it's just "spam messages to clear the screen" after something was said, although it's sadly not as effective as it was in chat 1.0.
