While i have not personally experimented with a marketing manager, I can almost assure you that they are not profitable. Companies have been around for a long time now, and almost every variation of setup has been tried. The reason that every AN on page 1 of this list has basically the same setup, is because it is the best setup to have. Go through and see if any of them have a marketing manager

If you are running an adult novelty you need to have 6 sales assistants, 1 store manager, and 3 sexperts. If you head to the wiki you can see the positions and their required stats, and work out your positions from there.
