No it isnt. You can buy stocks, put it in a vault in your house, buy items for resale later, open a ghost trade, and more. Check out the Tutorials forums.
+ Faction vault can be a viable option too.
there's also the piggy bank that new players would have access to on their missions page. However it's one-time use and you can only get the cash from it if you smash it.
