Some beginners may be overwhelmed with how much education there is to get. There are a LOT of really good perks to choose from, and depending on your playstyle, a lot of those are mandatory.
Some players that have 7+ years in torn (or less with proper jobs) have completed all the education. They dont have a reason to worry about being kicked out of class and have all the possible perks.
So what im proposing will cause even more confusion for new players.
Instead of trying to full rework these bachelors degrees (which tbh will upset a large number of players), lets switch it to associates degree. Keep everything as is (ok, maybe some modification to make general studies more viable). And then make a second tier of education. Must complete your associates in a field before unlocking the bachelor's degree of the same school.
So like, once you've done every class for sports science and gotten the (now called) associates degree, you may now start working on the sports science bachelors.
We /could/ be boring and copy paste some perks (like another 4 classes to increase stat gains). Or we could make slightly more powerful perks since this second degree will take longer to achieve.
This would also make room to add more education perks in the future. Masters and doctorate.
The main idea is to keep the old players having things to do. At some point, you finish all crimes, 100 the top OC, have so much money flow you are FHC or 30e cans all day every day (and if you passivly make more than those costs, never have to fly again.
