    Yes and nail bombs are a material. This OC must have unbelievable payout to have such expensive item requirements.

Just noticed that China Lake is getting new use! What other items are being used for the new Level 9 OC, anyone know?

  • Required by the Muscle role during the Hostile Takeover scenario.

quite possibly, but how many years until then? patch notes also state temp items drop in stacks of 3 from NPCs now so that will help a little bit with supply

So, is there any chance of losing this item on a fail?

 

If so, are we fucked if a member has our stricken china lake equipped?

If anything should have been learned by now is, never sell anything, ever. 

 

  1. it might be used by a crime or OC
  2. The meta for the item changes 
  3. More incentive to fix the inventory

 

Tldr; never sell anything.

I haven't seen any required item being lost during any OC ever. Pretty sure that only happens with individual crimes.

Don't OCs require the item to be unequipped? I remember doing the First Aid and Abet OC when it came out and I had to unequip my cassock for it to count.

 

What would happen if there are multiple China Lakes in inventory when joining the OC? How would you be able to select which one to use? I expect them to bypass the problem by making it so you don't lose them so it doesn't matter which one gets counted.
