just logged in and chat has disappeared off the bottom of my screen am i dumb or is there a problem

If youre on moblie click the settings cog at the bottom and rejoin the global chat from there.
Sometimes the connection you're using will block access to chat.
When I'm using my work laptop and connected to the company VPN, I can't access chat and have to use my phone to chat instead.
If you're using TornTools, you may have "Hide chats" ticked.
It's also possible you accidentally clicked "Close all private chats".
Did the GD comunity actually get nice to newbies??

If you are on the Torn android app, clear your app cache from the app settings menu, log out, then back in which should restore your chats.
If you are on a browser, please ensure you don't have an adblocker running (some browsers are enabling one by default).
Also as mentioned above, please check if a script you are using is causing it. You can also test in a different browser and in incognito/private mode to troubleshoot.
