I already have made 259 total attempts in pickpocketing with 189 successes. But my skill is still in 2.83, my spouse just did more than 120 success and a total of just 183 attempts and already in level 18 of the said crime.
Please let me know if it's a bug or its already reported

You lose skill level and crime experience every time you critically fail a crime. If your level keeps going down, you are doing something wrong or you are attempting crimes which are more difficult compared to your current Crime experience. Try doing easier crimes and build up your Crime exp before attempting harder crimes.
Thanks!
