Faction payment system

I was making payments for RW copy and pasting $$$$$ 
The default payment is 'Give money' 
Halfway though the payout task I was running the page must have refreshed as I had moved the button to 'Add to balance' to begin my payments.

Could we please leave the button blank ? and make the choice our self to stop this happening?

Caused me no end of problems working out who had what and left some players with the faction balance in their wallet ready for mugging (cost me to refund the mugs) 
A simple payment task took me a whole day to sort

This is the reason for me wanting to give this game a total miss, no one wants to listen to anyone 
"just because you don't like it" 
There should be NO default and once the choice is made it stays until you need to change it (not change for every payment time you use it) 

I am very close to kicking this game from my PC, I have wasted so much time and money on it, it will be a hard choice but very doable.

If you're so wound up by the game that this is close to the final straw, then just quit for the benefit of your mental health.

Yeah thanks guys I'm about 80% there on quitting, I'm pretty sure that 20% aint that far off.

I have 2 issues that get swept under the carpet 

1. You can give the entire faction balance with one click, where the amount should be limited to what the player has deposited in the Faction vault and a warning given before you continue - I hear this has happened to numerous others and needs to be addressed ASAP. 

2. The original post issue of the pay out button defaulting on a browser refresh, either intentional or unintentional.

They are easy fixes, a bid of coding job done - but no our dedicated Admin team will shield us from any problems by just closing down the post and insult/belittle anyone who happens to mention any problems that could cause work for anyone in IT, as long as the Torn bank balance is looking sweet why bother?

The first of those issues has been responded to multiple times by Ched stating that the faction vault was never intended to be used as a player bank, and he will not be making any changes to make it safer to use it like one.

Your second point - that is not what you asked for originally, you said to leave them both blank and let you choose, which was what CJ responded to saying that those radio buttons must have a default selected - and if you want to change it to another system which isn't using those buttons then to create a suggestion because in itself it isn't a bug/issue.

(I would look at the links in Mr Bob's post above though, much easier to do RW payouts direct from the spreadsheet with links generated to include the amounts, player ID, and add to balance selected)

I'd like to add that the reason why most posts in this thread are marked as closed are because they are often not bugs, which is the case in this scenario.  You were told explicitly by CloudJumper that "you would have to submit a Suggestion and come back."  This isn't really "sweeping issues under the carpet," but rather the admin team not addressing what they deem to be non-issues.

As for the Admin not "[causing] work for anyone in IT," that is incorrect; having reported a number of actual bugs, most of the bugs that I report get marked as confirmed (as opposed to closed), and some of them got patched (if it is relatively important.)

If you want to elicit change, I suggest that you post your request in the suggestions thread and come back as directed if your suggestion reaches the required criteria.  Otherwise, you could just "deal with it," and be more prudent with money interactions in your faction.

The entire issue was caused by the fact that you weren't using the pre-fill URLs Mr_Bob posted above. These are easy to integrate into a spreadsheet for payouts and save a lot of time (and errors) vs copy/paste. Happy to offer you some tips on integration.
