The title pretty much lays out what I would like to achieve with this thread.

Hello, I recently passed level 15 and the first thing I did was buy a stock ticker and hire out for "full statistics spying" for a few million.

And I've turned about 3.5% in active day trading,  but can see that it will not scale.

I've seen other advice threads that basically say, "first fill your bank account..."

How long should that take? I also don't know how much that is.

What's a good way to make the first millions?

After level 15 most common way to make money is by flying (rent a PI with an airstrip), then max bank and get the stock blocks with best ROI. Day trading won't make you anything until your numbers get to tens of billions.

What I've said is the most common way, but you can do loss selling(only for starting funds), trading , ranked wars, revives etc. Some of these would take time to properly do/unlock and can require money upfront.

You can get your first millions by loss selling even if you are level 1

Selling items from traveling in the market for profits. High level players profit from their time saving. You gain profits while sacrificing your time for them.

You don't want to trade actively before 20B networth at the minimum. Ticker volatility makes average earnings beyond 2-3% basically impossible, and up until that networth you are getting better returns through bank and dividends.
