First round of the VIP Mining Championship complete, 18 laps of Uptown with the director RobberHood coming in a respectable 3rd place. Unfortunately he was disqualified for shouting "Oil rigs are for wankers" repeatedly.
Slabsaldinho knows the track well and his mechanics worked through the night to get his whip race ready and though Undertaker103 harried him throughout the event, some salt on the track caused him to lose grip causing a slight wobble at the last corner ultimately ruining his chances. Civilian was seen in tears on the podium after being bumped into third place, and is adamant JohnVonNeumann attacked him with a pepper spray. Platypus was forced into driving a Papani Cole due to race regulations, but his salt-themed livery drew appreciation from the sponsors.
The event was marred by one protestor who was removed from the afterparty after throwing a margarita over Salt Bae and claiming this whole event was sports washing. Director RobberHood just said he was salty because he didn't get to join in the race lmfao. GGs all.
