Probably the force to chat 3.0. There's a known memory leak that hasn't been and probably won't be fixed till 2046 with the fiver devs.

 

I'd expect to see this thread popping up more often if people don't manually switch back to 2.0

In Torn PDA you can delete just the chat localstorage, close the app and reopen and voila. Storage cleared. Sort the Local Storage by descending size and click the trash icon on chat.

 

 

Oh ffs nvm it's persisting after delete. Lemme go report a bug to Manuito

yes, I have been for the last few days

 

I notice it a lot with the chat window--every time a change to a different Torn page, the chat window grinds and grinds before it properly shows up. This is on my desktop computer.

Torns not going to publicly announce or acknowledge their known issues outside of bug reports that get buried in a matter of hours due of how spaghetti the game is and how dumb players are; simultaneously reporting bugs that do exist and "bugs" that turn out to just turnout to be a misunderstanding because it's counterintuitive to income and player retainment.
