should i enlist in elimination at such low stats? pretty sure ill meet the 14 day mark before it starts so ill be able to enlist is it worth the merits and can i travel during it? also who gets the prizes does everyone get a bunch of free loot depending on their allegiance and the teams position

Worth it is up for debate
There is no loot, just merits for top hitters and winning team
100000000% worth joining no questions asked. There might be no rewards outside of merits, but it's a good place to meet new people and gain connections/friendships that will help you in the long run and that's infinitely more valuable than any merits or loot. Just do your best and you'll be fine.
