🏛 TORN MUSEUM ALL-IN-ONE ASSISTANT

Stop guessing whether a museum set is worth it. Now you know.

──────────────────────────────

Museum sets look like free points until you actually do the math. How many Camel Plushies am I short? What do they cost right now? Is this even profitable at today's point price?

That's a spreadsheet, twelve browser tabs and a headache.

So I built something that does all of it in one panel — and tells you honestly when the answer is "don't bother".

➤ Install it here:
Torn City Museum A.I.O Assistant

──────────────────────────────

WHAT IT DOES

▸ Tells you exactly what you're missing
Every museum set, with per-item quantities done properly — including the Senet Game Set, which needs 5 white pawns and 5 black pawns, not one of each. Set a Target Sets multiplier from 1 to 1000 and it scales the whole plan.

▸ Real cost, not fantasy cost
This is the big one. Most calculators take the cheapest listing and multiply by the quantity you need. That number is always wrong — buying 50 units clears out the cheap listings and pushes you up the order book. This script walks the actual listings and totals what you'd genuinely pay.

▸ Tells you if it's actually worth it
Cost per set, cost per point, what it sells for at the current points market, profit, margin, how many complete sets the market could supply this very minute, and your break-even point price — how far points can fall before the trade turns into a loss.

▸ Ranks every set
All twelve sets in one table, sorted by profitability. Where's the money this week? One glance.

▸ Tracks point prices
Torn's API doesn't expose point price history, so the script samples it locally and builds a 7-day sparkline. Useful for timing an exchange.

▸ Prefill Sweep — the part that saves the most clicking
Hit Sweep on any missing item and the Item Market opens on it, sorted cheapest-first. Every listing under your price ceiling gets highlighted green. Click one and the quantity box fills itself — capped by that seller's real stock, so it rolls over to the next listing when one seller doesn't have enough. A counter tracks what's still outstanding and survives the page reloading after each buy.

──────────────────────────────

⚠ ON THE RULES — READ THIS BIT

I know anything touching the Item Market gets side-eye, so let me be completely clear:

• It never clicks Buy for you. No automated purchases, no background POSTs, nothing simulating a click on Torn's Buy button. Sweep opens the market page and prefills a quantity field. Every single purchase is your own click.

• Read-only. GET requests against the official API v2, nothing else.

• Throttled to 60 requests a minute against Torn's limit of 100, with heavy caching so browsing costs nothing.

• A Limited Access key is enough. It never asks for Full Access.

──────────────────────────────

GETTING STARTED

1. Install Tampermonkey, then the script
2. Make a Limited Access API key
3. Open your Museum page, paste the key, hit Tab
4. Press "Load inventory", then "Price all sets"

First run takes a few seconds while it prices the market. After that it's instant.

──────────────────────────────

BEING STRAIGHT WITH YOU ABOUT THE LIMITS

Torn only opens one buy box at a time. A quantity field only exists for the listing you've actually clicked, so the script can't fill the whole page at once. It fills what's genuinely open and reports honestly how many units landed — it will never claim to have filled more than it did. The workflow is: click a green listing, quantity fills, press Buy, click the next one.

Museum Day's +10% isn't modelled yet, so those days pay slightly better than shown. Point history needs a few days of use before the sparkline means anything. Profit figures are estimates — prices move, and big buys move them faster.

──────────────────────────────

Free, open source, MIT licensed. Bug reports and feature requests very welcome — if the sweep assistant misbehaves, hit the "Diagnose page" button and send me what it prints, it makes fixing things far quicker.

Happy hoarding.
