TORN Compact World Clocks

What it does

Adds compact local and world clocks directly inside TORN's existing clock popup.

TORN's original clock is never modified. The TORN server time remains the authority and is used as the reference for all additional clocks.

Features

  • Local Time
    Automatically displays your local timezone.
  • World Clocks
Add multiple additional timezones to the TORN clock.
  • Full IANA Timezone List
Uses the timezone database provided by your browser.
  • Automatic DST
Daylight-saving changes are handled automatically by the browser.
  • TORN Time Synchronisation
Uses TORN's displayed server time as the source of truth.
  • Saved Settings
Your selected timezones are remembered between sessions.
  • Desktop & Mobile
Designed to remain compact and unobtrusive.

How to use

  1. Open TORN's clock in the top navigation.
  2. Your Local time is displayed automatically.
  3. Click the ⚙ icon to open the timezone settings.
  4. Select a timezone from the list.
  5. Click + to add it.
  6. Use × beside a timezone to remove it.

TORN Remains the Authority

The userscript does not replace, overwrite or alter TORN's original clock.

It reads the time displayed by TORN and uses that timestamp as the authoritative starting point for the additional clocks.

The script then advances the additional clocks locally without feeding any calculated time back into TORN.

Accuracy & Performance

The script is designed to provide accurate second-by-second clocks without continuously polling TORN or placing unnecessary load on the browser.

It uses TORN's clock as the authoritative reference while keeping the additional calculations local.

No API Required

No TORN API key is required.

The userscript does not use an external timezone API, external server or account connection. Timezone calculations are performed locally by your browser.

Privacy

Your selected timezones are stored locally in your browser. No timezone selections or personal information are sent anywhere.
