"Known issues

The first time you open Chat 3.1, some conversations you'd already read may show as unread,"

Ok so now that every chat 3.0 I have ever made is now listed as unread, how to I auto remark them all as read?

Every single chat prior to this is listed as unread. Am I expected to go through them all and open them one by one just to get back to zero unread chats and any new notifications being recent and possibly important?

Do you folks actually think of the consequences of your "upgrades"  prior to implementation?

This is an utter shit show!

Oh and using the bot we all hated as your template, bugger me! Chat 3.0 although more stable still sucked. Chat 3.1 built to emulate it still sucks ass.

Yes, that is why it is literally explained to you WHY this happens even with a gif! How did you manage to copy from the announcement and ignore that?

If you're that blind then this chat update is irrelevant to you apparently.

Read state couldn't be carried over from Sendbird. Opening Chat Settings and choosing Mark all as read clears it, and you can reopen any chats you want from the chat list. It's a one-off and only affects the initial move.

There is nothing in the announcement on if the lag issue has been fixed which was a critical problem in 3.0, and the main reason why I didnt use it.

The fact we now can't revert to 2.0 as a backup is not very good, this legitimately might cripple people during wars when your opening a bunch of loaders.

Initial tests look promising actually, although it's too early to be sure it's possible that Torn has managed to implement at chat system that can't be reasonably classified as pure malware.

And it only took three years!

Maybe its just been too long since I've read a "feature release" announcement as opposed to patch notes, but props to Jack-O and whoever else wrote it, very well written, even if players are idiots and don't know how to read text off an image.

The trade and global chats were pretty funny. Mark all as read and it just started instantly filling up again and flashing at me. Seems like a useless notification when there is always someone talking on those channels. It’s like getting a notification that the 24 hr convenience store is still open.
