Was just about to post this myself.
I've bet on 2 games, but got no events to confirm my bet like in the past, and money has already been taken. I was able to see it under the "your bets" tab on bookies, but now this is greyed out so I'm unable to access it.
Edit: Found a similar thread which answers my question. Would be nice to receive an event confirming the bet though.

Paying $1,500,000 per successful Runaway!
- Unfortunately, I've completed the Bachelor in Health and Fitness education course a long time ago, so this will make it harder to run away from me. This difficulty is reflected in the amount I now pay per runaway (doubled in price), so there's a lot of money on offer if you're successful!
- Minimum stat requirement: At least 5,000,000 SPEED is recommended. My Speed: 634,550. However, feel free to make your own decision - this is merely guidance.
- Open to everyone, regardless of level or age!
- You MUST attack at least ONCE using fists / pillow ONLY before running away.
- If you have low stats or life and likely to be 1 hit killed by me, then mail me before you attack and I will unequip my weapon to increase your chance of having the option to runaway after 1 hit. Click here to mail me and request for me to unequip.
- Don't spam my mailbox - I will pay as soon as I see the event(s) and checked if you've used fists throughout the fight.
- Fast and guaranteed payments.
- Failed runaways count as a loss and will NOT be paid!
