My suggestion is that once a faction is Destroyed (0 respect) the name should be up for grabs and the faction ID then becomes the new name, the same process as players name currently follow.
There is a finite number of quality faction names to choose from. Many are currently being held by Destroyed/Inactive factions.
When players go inactive for a long time, their names can be claimed for a couple of extra points, so why not do the same with faction names?
To preserving a factions History/Legacy. The faction will then present a "Previously known as tag" like Players do in the honor bar.
This also creates an additional place to use points.
Bring back the reduced Item market fees company special!
This is not just another suggestion post asking to return things because we dislike change, I really hope staff will listen to its player base this time.
As of yesterday item market fees were introduced at 1% which will continue till 5%. (Stupid but we wont win that fight)
22/10/24 - The Car Dealership and Property Broker 5* specials have been replaced. Previously, these specials reduced your fees when selling via the Item Market and Auction House. Moving forward, both specials will instead reduce the anonymous listing fees from 10% to 0%.
I propose that one of these companies 5* special be restored to reducing the item market to 0%.
*Frankly I don't know what genius decided to change both companies to the same special.
This change would allow players the option to start a new service of selling on your behalf for a fee of their own, making the economy move rather than it all just disappearing to the game.
I could live without the AH special as you can post an item and forget about it, no need to self hosp or put in work advertising.
but so many depend on the Item market, unavoidable fees for the item market just hurt the game.
You wont find any players that find the new market fees change as a positive.
I understand people will keep re-listing items in the AH and have friends bid on them, for this reason the 3% fee should remain.
Traders should have the choice to sacrifice other company specials for reduced fees, like the clothing store mug protection which has been a favour for many years to traders.
