OP, one of those is reference to a quote John Lennon made that didn’t cause controversy in the UK but it did in the US because Americans missed the point:

You made your appeal respectfully, but you missed the clues and context in which the quote(s) were served, just like US Christians did when they first read the quote. Unfortunately, many US Christians still miss the point.
Let the inconsistency between the words and works of Christians versus the words and works of Jesus stir you to reflection and action.
